Dr. Fink grew up in nearby Silver Spring, MD and had wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, she completed a 1-year rotating internship in Albuquerque, NM, and then joined the Columbia Pike team. Several years later, she joined Dr. Reed Hall in developing our mentorship program.
Dr. Fink started managing the program logistics and over time discovered that she truly loves teaching and watching novice vets gain confidence in their own skills. Her favorite thing is to see our graduating program participants meet the next year’s class and realize just how much they have learned over the past 12 months. Along with teaching medical skills she enjoys discussing how to balance work, life, and mental health (and has 2 children that make her practice what she preaches!). She also has a passion for performing abdominal ultrasounds and enjoys teaching our mentees how to start performing imaging.
